I want to thank you for the assortment of shellac flakes I obtained from you recently. I found them to be of very high quality, clearly labeled and conveniently packaged. So far, I’ve used the dewaxed orange and beige flakes in the restoration of a badly crazed finish on an Empire display cabinet, as an excellent sealer to overcome extreme silicone oil contamination encountered while refinishing a mahogany grand piano, and as a sealer to impart the look of an aged patina on an early 20th Century oak table that received traditional lacquer topcoats. I’m looking forward to using the dewaxed garnet and super blond shellac on upcoming projects.
